The Technical University of Košice offers education at nine faculties:

• Faculty of Mining, Ecology, Process Control and Geotechnologies
• Faculty of Materials, Metallurgy and Recycling 
• Faculty of Mechanical Engineering
• Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics
• Faculty of Civil Engineering
• Faculty of Economics
• Faculty of Manufacturing Technologies
• Faculty of Arts
• Faculty of Aeronautics

TUKE offers a wide range of study programmes, from the completely technical through the economics up to the artistic specializations. Some of them have been internationally accredited. Aeronautics and aerospace have been some of the latest study programmes.

At present, more than nine thousand students study at TUKE who can participate in the unique international mobilities and internships within the 360 partnerships in almost 31 countries. Besides the EU countries, they include world destinations such as USA, Brazil, New Zealand, India, China, Taiwan, Japan and others. The possibility to gain a double degree with some of the partner universities in France. There is an international spirit since 20 per cent of the students come from abroad, up to 40 countries worldwide. University science park TECHNICOM with the facilities of the TUKE Startup Centre and the TUKE Incubator supports the young innovators.

Besides the science, research and education, the university also supports publically available social, cultural and sports activities:

• different sports (basketball, badminton, body work, floorball, football, nordic walking, skiing, table tennis, SM-System, hiking, volleyball, tabata, pilates, fitness, Physical education courses);
• school athletic stadium, eight gymnasiums, baseball ground, squash and tennis courts;
• sport club Slávia TU, Akademik TU;
• choir Collegium Technicum;
• folk groups Jahodná a Borievka;
• student television and radio;
• memberships in organizations like AIESEC, AZU, BEST a IAESTE.
