Introductory Courses
FEI TUKE organizes intensive courses in secondary school mathematics, physics and electrical engineering for first year students aimed at supplementing the necessary knowledge of graduates of different types and levels of secondary schools (http://www.fei.tuke.sk/sk/studium/prijimacky/pripravne-kurzy). These courses are optional and serve to acquire the knowledge necessary for successful completion of the college curriculum. They are held the week before the start of the school year or during the first semester of the academic year. The amount of the fee depends on the type of course::
Course in secondary school mathematics for freshmen at FEI TUKE - 80 Eur
Preparatory course in physics - 60 Eur
Intensive course in electrical engineering - 52 Eur
Tuition fees and charges At FEI TU Košice students will be required to pay annual tuition fees for:
study of the second and further study programme in case of concurrent study
(§ 92 (5) of the Act) - 500 €/ac. year
study of a study programme longer than the standard length of study
(Section 92(6) of the Act) - €500/acre/year
study of a paid study programme in the external form
(§ 92 (3) of the Act) :
1. Degree - Bachelor's study programme: - 600 Eur/ac.year
2. Degree - engineering study programme: - 700 Eur/ac.year
Study of a paid study programme in the external form: 3rd degree - all offered doctoral study programmes in the external form - 900 €/ac.year

Accommodation and boarding
Accomodation
Students of Technical University of Košice have the opportunity to stay in the Student Homes of TUKE, which are made up of a complex of 7 university dormitories. Students of FEI TU Košice are accommodated in the Student House on Jedlíkova Street No. 9. The price for accommodation is 63 Eur/bed/month. They have their own internet café and can connect their own computer to the internet network in their rooms.
Boarding
Meals are provided in the student house canteens and in the catering facilities on the TU campus. The student chooses the catering facility according to the place where he/she is on a given day and at a given time. The TU catering facilities provide a restaurant system of catering, i.e. there is a choice of meals from a wide range of choices at any time of the day or evening.
