for Bachelor's degree.
SCIO test of the General Studies Prerequisites (GSP) as part of the National Benchmarking Examinations (NPS) provided by Scio on six dates (prior to the faculty admission deadline) during the academic year 2024/2025 and in several cities in Slovakia. It is possible to take the NPS test more than once; only the best result will be counted. (the minimum pass mark is the 50th percentile).
!!! If a student succeeds in the SCIO test, i.e. achieves a percentile of 50 or more, he/she no longer takes the written test at the faculty, but the faculty counts it in full towards the admission process.
!!! If a student fails the SCIO test, he/she has the option to take the written test at the faculty on the given date of admission, and the faculty will not take the SCIO test result into account. Testing dates, sample tests, and application requirements are posted at http://www.scio.sk/nps/. It is the responsibility of each applicant to apply for the VLE test and to pay the associated costs. The faculty does not organize these tests and does not register or invite candidates for the tests. A candidate who duly registers for the test will receive an invitation to take the test approximately 10 days before the test by email from Scio. The candidate does not hand in his/her result to the faculty. Candidates' results are handed over to the faculty exclusively by Scio.
