Conditions of admission

• graduation from the bachelor's degree in the study field of teaching and pedagogical sciences in the study programme of pre-school and elementary pedagogy, respectively pre-school and elementary pedagogy and pedagogy of the psychosocially disturbed and in the study programme of special pedagogy,
• certification of medical fitness for university studies (the form is available on the faculty's website in the section Applicants - study options),
• delivery of a printed and signed application form submitted electronically.

Additional information

If an applicant wishes to apply for more than one study programme at the faculty, he/she must submit a separate application for each study programme separately and pay the application fee for each application. An applicant cannot apply for both full-time and part-time studies for the same study programme at the same time.

Conditions for international students

Acceptance is subject to the submission of proof of completion of the bachelor's degree programme. The documents must be officially certified and submitted to the Department of Education of the Faculty of Education of the PU within the set deadline. For foreign applicants, the above admission condition also applies. Applicants are recommended to take a preparatory course in Slovak language. Self-payers are admitted on the basis of a contract. The Tuition Fees and Fees Directive for the relevant academic year is published at http://www.unipo.sk/pedagogicka-fakulta .

Conditions of admission without the entrance exam

Applicants will be admitted without an entrance exam. If the number of applicants exceeds the planned number for admission by 25%, the weighted average of the Bachelor's degree will be decisive. The results of the admission procedure will be published in the MAIS information system https://mais.unipo.sk/eprihlaska/pages/odosielate/ interface_sender.mais

after the end of the admission procedure, i.e. after the meeting of the admission committee. The written decision on the result of the admission procedure will be delivered to the applicant's own hands within the statutory time limit.

General information on the admission exam

• Additional attachments to the application:

  - Confirmation of the weighted academic average achieved during studies at the bachelor's degree level to be delivered to the address of the faculty by 24 May 2024 Only applicants who have studied at another faculty for a bachelor's degree are required to provide this document,

  - a certified copy of the diploma and the diploma supplement from the bachelor's degree to be delivered to the faculty's address by 12.07.2024. Only applicants who have studied the bachelor's degree at another faculty are eligible.

  - The admission fee can be paid exclusively electronically - by bank transfer. In the message to the recipient include: the applicant's name and surname, the name of the faculty. The document must be signed and attached to the application form,

  - handwritten and signed CV,

  - An applicant with specific needs pursuant to Section 100 of Act No. 131/2002 Coll. on Higher Education and on Amendments and Additions to Later Regulations shall document the specific needs in the application form with a relevant application and a certificate. The application is published on the faculty's website in the section Applicants - study options.
  

  Incomplete applications will not be accepted and the admission fee will not be refunded.
