The Faculty of Health of SMU in Bratislava reserves the right not to open Bachelor's degree programmes and Master's degree programmes in case of a lower number of applicants than the planned number. It also reserves the right not to open any of these study programmes for other serious reasons.

Conditions of admission without the entrance exam

- successful completion of full secondary education or full secondary vocational education with the final school-leaving examination,

- fulfilment of the prescribed medical criteria for the practice of the profession of nurse.

General information on the admission exam

The application form must be accompanied by:

- matriculation certificate - photocopy certified by a notary or registry office,

- applicants for the external form of study, if they have a higher vocational education, shall also attach a certified copy of the diploma of completion of higher vocational studies,

- a brief curriculum vitae,

- a doctor's certificate of the applicant's medical fitness to practise the profession in question - to be submitted with the application form,

- Applicants who are graduating this academic year will submit their matriculation certificate (certified copy) on the day of the entrance exam, they will fill in the application form with the end of year grades for the 1st,2nd,3rd year of secondary school - grades must be confirmed by the secondary school,

- Applicants who have graduated in the previous period, fill in the application form with the final year grades of four years of secondary school, the secondary school does not have to confirm the grades,

- if an applicant wishes to apply for more than one program of study at the university, he/she must submit a separate application for each program of study separately and pay the application fee for each application separately.
