Prospects of graduates

Graduates of the external master's degree in physiotherapy will be employed primarily in the areas of health care, management and control, education and scientific work, prevention and health education, health insurance, public and state administration. After obtaining a specialisation, they will be employed in the performance of specialised activities.

Conditions of admission

- External form of study:

- a completed and signed application form with the required attachments, including the paid admission fee,

- successful completion of the Bachelor's degree programme,

- after fulfilling the conditions for admission in the external form of study, applicants will be admitted without entrance examinations.

Master's degree in physiotherapy - external form of study - is intended for graduates of full-time and external forms of bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy.




Additional information

The Faculty of Health of the Slovak Medical University  in Banská Bystrica reserves the right not to open Master's degree programmes in case of a lower number of applicants than the planned number.

The Faculty also reserves the right not to open any of these study programmes for other serious reasons.

General information on the admission exam

The application form must be accompanied by:

- a brief curriculum vitae,

- a doctor's certificate of medical fitness for university study and practice in the chosen study programme - required to be submitted with the application form,

- evidence of completion of bachelor studies - diploma, diploma supplement and state examination certificate (photocopies certified by a notary public or registry office),

- if the applicant is a first degree student at the time of application for university studies (applicants from other universities), he/she is obliged to attach a certificate of attendance to the application form. The diploma, the diploma supplement and the School Certificate, in case of admission, shall be presented by the applicant at the latest on the day of enrolment,

- the employer's confirmation of the applicant's employment status must be enclosed with the application form,
