DTI University operates as a private university based on the Resolution of the Government of the Slovak Republic N. 200 from March 1, 2006. The University provides tertiary education in Bachelor, Master and Doctoral study programmes.

Teaching of Practical Training in Economic Subjects (field of study: Teaching and Educational Sciences),

Didactics of Technical Vocational Subjects

In accordance with Section 102, Clause 3, paragraph e) of the Act No. 131/2002 on Higher Education and on the Change and Supplement to Some Acts as amended, and the statement by the Accreditation Commission, DTI University has been granted the right to award the academic degree of Bachelor (Bc.) to the graduates of full-time and external Bachelor study programmes; the academic degree of Master (Mgr.) to the graduates of full-time and external Master study programmes; and the academic degree of Philosophiae Doctor (PhD.) to the graduates of the full-time form and the external form of the Doctoral study programme.

Mission
The mission of DTI University is to provide, organize and ensure tertiary education in accredited study programmes, to carry out creative scientific research, and to provide further education programmes in the form of a wide range of courses and educational activities.

DTI University is oriented on producing and spreading knowledge and innovations primarily in the field of the applied study programmes and scientific disciplines with an emphasis placed on training professionals in demand in the labour market. It also aims to contribute to the development of a knowledge-based and sustainably competitive economy in Slovakia. In order to fulfil this mission, DTI University collaborates with colleges, universities, institutions in private and public sectors, and non-governmental organizations both in Slovakia and abroad; and it participates in international projects.
