Rescue, Fire and Safety Technics
A graduate of the bachelor's study program Rescue, fire and safety technology controls the basic parameters of the working environment in connection with production technologies, or work comfort in the non-production sphere and knowledge of the basic conditions for ensuring fire protection in the given conditions. Future graduates are professionally profiled in the field of mine rescue, fire protection and safety at work. Acquires basic knowledge about the organization and work of various rescue systems (mining rescue service, fire and rescue service, safety technical service, road rescue system, military rescue service) and their connection to an integrated rescue system. The majority of the study is focused on preventive, liquidation and regression activities of industrial accidents and natural events. This gives the graduate an original, unified and comprehensive view of the issue of rescue, fire and safety technology.
Prospects of graduates
The study program Rescue, fire and safety technology will provide graduates with a broader professional profile on the organization and work of various rescue systems (mine rescue service, fire and rescue service, safety engineering service, road rescue system, military rescue service) and their connection to an integrated rescue system. Graduates can independently prepare proposals for safety and health protection at work, safety in the environment, evaluate safety risks and develop documentation and fire protection projects. They know how to assess the fire safety of buildings, the size of fire sections, determine fire risks, fire technical properties of materials and design escape routes, separation distances and equipment for fire fighting. The cross-sectional nature of the study program does not exclude the application of graduates in other fields.

For a study applicant, the admission procedure begins with the delivery of his study application to the faculty that conducts the relevant study program. FBERG accepts study applications for the 2023/2024 academic year only in the electronic version. The applicant for studies at FBERG does not have to print an electronic application and send it in paper form by post. The application must be delivered in electronic form without a guaranteed electronic signature using the academic information system TUKE (IS MAIS), which allows the applicant to verify its registration in the IS MAIS from the date of its submission until the end of the admission procedure. All attachments can be uploaded in .pdf format to IS MAIS (resume, certificates, graduation certificate, proof of payment of the fee for the material provision of the admission procedure and other attachments according to the faculty's requirements).
