Conditions of admission

- to full-time study:

- successful completion of full secondary education or full secondary vocational education,

- a duly completed and signed application form with the required attachments, including the PK fee paid



Additional information

The Faculty of Public Health of the Slovak University of Health Sciences in Bratislava reserves the right not to open Bachelor and Master study programmes in case of a lower number of applicants than the planned number.

It also reserves the right not to open any of these study programmes for other serious reasons.

Conditions of admission without the entrance exam

Applicants for the Bachelor's degree in Public Health:

- will be admitted without an entrance examination on the basis of academic performance during their studies at secondary school. Academic averages from the end-of-year report cards for grades 1-3 and the mid-year report card for grade 4 (analogous to quint to octave for grammar schools with eight years of study) will be included in the results of studies in secondary school.

- based on this criterion, the first 30 applicants with the best grade point average will be admitted.

- the result of the admission or non-admission decision will be sent to the applicants by post.

General information on the admission exam

- You must register your application electronically through the MAIS Academic Information System at https://mais.szu.sk/eprihlaska (Mozilla Firefox browser) and subsequently send the printed application form with the required attachments by post,

- the application form must be signed.

The application form must be accompanied by:

- matriculation certificate - photocopy certified by a notary or registry office,

- end-of-year report cards for grades 1-3 and half-year report cards for grade 4 (analogous to the quint to octave for grammar schools with eight years of study),

- candidates fill in the application form with the end-of-year grades for years 1, 2, 3 of secondary school and the half-year certificate for year 4 (analogous to the quint to octave for grammar schools with eight years of study),

- curriculum vitae,

- doctor's certificate of health - required on the application form or as a separate document,

- proof of payment of the fee of 50,- €

- Applicants who are graduating in this academic year will submit their matriculation certificate (certified copy) by June 15, 2023,

The applicant does not send various diplomas, certificates and certificates with the application form, they are not taken into account in the admission process.
