Hungarian Language and Culture and Slovak Language and Culture

The study program is accredited in the field of study Philology. Students obtain a wide knowledge in the field of translation and interpretation. They learn the basic methods, procedures and strategies needed for artistic and professional translation for consecutive and simultaneous interpreting. The program also extends the language competence, practical control of language teaching in various styles (fictional, journalistic, colloquial, etc.) and use adequate linguistic resources. The program prepares translators of the Hungarian and Slovak language.

Conditions of admission without the entrance exam
The Dean of the Faculty may decide to waive the entrance examination or a part thereof, taking into account the number of registered applicants and the results of studies at the 1st level of study as the basic criterion.
