Teacher Training in Physical Education

Prospects of graduates

Bachelor's degree graduate of the study programme Teacher of physical education:

obtains education for the performance of professional activity in the category of pedagogical assistant with the possibility of employment at the second level of primary school and in secondary school,
is eligible to continue further studies at master's level,
may obtain the professional qualification to perform the professional activity of a coach of the 1st qualification level of the respective sport specialisation and an instructor of sport for all of the 1st qualification level.

Conditions of admission

successful completion of secondary education culminating in a matriculation examination,

medical certificate issued by a sports physician on the applicant's medical fitness to study a programme of study in the field of physical education (not older than 6 months),

successful completion of the entrance examination on physical prerequisites.

Conditions of admission without the entrance exam

Participants in the Olympic Games, World Championships or European Championships in the two calendar years preceding the entrance examinations may be admitted without entrance examinations on presentation of a document certified by the relevant sports federation.

General information on the admission exam

Movement aptitude entrance exam.

The candidate will complete the following disciplines:

endurance (multi-stage) boat race over a distance of 20 m,
long jump from a standing position,
100 m swimming crawl or breaststroke,
gymnastics,
choice of one of four sports games (basketball, soccer, handball, volleyball).
