Theory of architectural and indoor engineering
The graduate of the program masters scientific methods in the theory and design of civil engineering structures and building technical systems based on a detailed overview of the current state of problem-solving both domestically and internationally, with an emphasis on their environmental aspects and economic efficiency. They focus on the ability to clearly formulate a scientific problem, the subject and objectives of research and development in the field of building design and the creation of building environments, and to address the formulated problem while being aware of the social, ethical, legal, and economic contexts of scientific work. Their knowledge also includes scientific experimentation—computational, laboratory, as well as in situ experiments—and methods for their evaluation. The graduate is capable of clearly articulating the contributions of research outputs to the development of the field of study, the academic discipline, and construction practice.
