Theory of architectural and indoor engineering
The graduate of the program masters the scientific methods of theory and design of constructions of civil engineering structures and the built environment on the basis of a detailed overview of the current state of solving the problem at home and abroad, with an emphasis on their environmental aspects and economic efficiency. It focuses on the ability to clearly formulate a scientific problem, the subject and goal of research and development in the field of structural design of buildings and the creation of the built environment and to solve the formulated problem with awareness of the social, ethical, legal and economic contexts of scientific work. His/her knowledge includes scientific experimentation - computational, laboratory and in situ experimentation and methods of its evaluation. The graduate is able to clearly articulate the contribution of research outputs to the development of the discipline, the field of study and to construction practice.
Prospects of graduates
A graduate of the study programme III. degree § will obtain a detailed overview of the current state of the solution of the studied problem at home and abroad,§ will be able to clearly formulate the scientific problem, subject and goal of research and development in the field of structural design of buildings and the creation of the built environment,§ will master the scientific methods of research and development of architectural structures of buildings, theories and techniques of the architectural environment of buildings, § will be able to clearly formulate the contribution of research outputs to the development of science in the field and to building-architectural practice § will be able to work independently scientifically, to evaluate scientific, computational and laboratory experiments as well as experiments "in situ" § will be aware of the social, ethical, legal and economic contexts of scientific work.

The basic condition for admission is the successful completion of an engineering degree in the relevant or related degree of study based on the assessment of the completed courses in the supporting areas of knowledge of the study programme during the admission interview.

Form of entrance exam
Admission to doctoral studies takes place in the form of an admission procedure. It also includes
the entrance exam, which the applicant is obliged to take on the day of the admission procedure. There are two exams
parts, language and professional. Based on their results, the admissions committee in the given
study program decides whether or not to recommend accepting the applicant. Final decision
admission or non-admission to study is the responsibility of the dean of the faculty.
