Doctoral degree graduate in sport education:

have broad cross-cutting professional knowledge, skills and competencies in the field of sport science, with a priority focus on sport education,
can be employed as a university teacher and researcher in the field of sport sciences, as an expert in the management of sport organisations and federations, and also as an expert in public administration with competencies to address physical activity issues in relation to the promotion of public health.

Conditions of admission

completed higher education studies of the 2nd degree

successful completion of the entrance examination

Additional information

Mandatory attachments to the application:

proof of payment of the fee for material support for the admission procedure,
resume signed by the applicant (Europass),
officially certified photocopies of evidence of second-level education (to be submitted immediately after obtaining them),
dissertation project (in two printed copies; bound in a binder or comb binding)

General information on the admission exam

The entrance examination is oral and consists of the following parts:

presentation of the dissertation project (introductory input of the candidate - max. 7 minutes),
discussion of the dissertation project,
examination of the methodology of sports science - discussion of research issues related to the topic of the dissertation,
examination in sport education related to the topic of the dissertation,
exam in English language (interview at the level of secondary school leaving certificate (B2) related to the dissertation topic and personal profiling).
