Prospects of graduates

Master's degree graduate of the study programme Sport for Health:

acquires the highest professional qualification to perform the professional activity of a coach of the V. qualification level in sport for all,
is competent to organize, manage and implement physical education and sports activities for the general public,
may acquire the professional competence to perform the professional activity of a coach of the II qualification level of the relevant sports specialisation,
can be employed as an instructor and trainer of sports recreational activities (expert for movement programmes for different age, health and social groups of the population); as an instructor, trainer, personal trainer or trainer for group exercises in fitness centres and also as an expert in the education of the disabled with competence in the development and application of kinesiotherapy for individual health handicaps.

Conditions of admission

obtaining a first degree in sport science, in a study programme focusing on sport for all.

medical certificate issued by a sports physician about the applicant's medical fitness to study a study programme in the field of physical education (not older than 6 months from the deadline for submitting the application form) is required only in the case of applicants who have not completed their bachelor's degree at the Faculty of Sport of the University of Prešov.

General information on the admission exam

Applicants are admitted without an entrance exam after meeting the admission requirements.

In the event that the number of applicants exceeds the capacity of the faculty, preference will be given to applicants with a better grade point average during the bachelor's degree and the state examination.
