Prospects of graduates

Bachelor's degree graduate of the study programme Sport for Health:

  • obtains the second highest professional qualification for the professional activity of a coach of qualification level IV in sport for all,
  • is competent to organize, manage and implement physical education and sports activities for the general public,
  • has the possibility to apply as an instructor and trainer of sports recreational activities, e.g. as an animator of leisure movement activities in tourism facilities, children's camps, leisure centres, etc.
  • may obtain the professional qualification to perform the professional activity of a coach of the 1st qualification level of the relevant sports specialisation.

Conditions of admission
  • completion of upper-secondary education or complete upper-secondary vocational education,

  • medical certificate issued by a sports physician on the applicant's medical fitness to study a programme of study in the field of physical education (not older than 6 months from the date of the entrance examinations; the applicant must submit the certificate from the physiotherapist no later than 3 days before the date of the entrance examinations),

  • successful completion of the entrance examination in physical prerequisites.

Conditions of admission without the entrance exam

Without an entrance examination, participants in the Olympic Games, World Championships or European Championships in the two calendar years preceding the entrance examinations may be admitted on presentation of a document certified by the relevant sports association.

General information on the admission exam

Movement aptitude entrance exam.

The candidate will complete the following disciplines:

  • endurance (multi-stage) boat race over a distance of 20 m,
  • distance long jump from a standing position,
  • 100 m freestyle or breaststroke swim,
  • gymnastics,
  • choice of one of four sports (basketball, football, handball, volleyball).
