Industrial Logistics
A graduate of the industrial logistics engineering study program will acquire knowledge and skills in the field of logistics, transport and services, technical and natural science disciplines, environmental studies and reverse logistics, controlling and logistics audit, development of new products and technologies, logistics information systems, economics, object programming, planning and forecasting, planning and optimization of logistics systems and the application of new, modern information technologies in industrial logistics, is able to ensure operation, manage, coordinate, design and optimize logistics systems, apply heuristic, quantitative and qualitative methods in industrial logistics, understands production as dynamically changing the system of flows in which activities identify shortcomings and limitations and apply procedures to streamline and optimize the operation of logistics systems, can solve complex problems of operation of logistics systems.
Prospects of graduates
A graduate of the industrial logistics engineering study program will gain knowledge and experience in the implementation of logistics systems, logistics of discrete production processes, information logistics, current challenges of logistics and legislation in practice, development of new products and technologies, methods of optimizing logistics systems, E-logistics, methods of planning and forecasting , strategic logistics, methods of synthesis of logistics systems, logistics of distribution, development trends in logistics, has knowledge of controlling and logistics audit, raw material transport logistics, basics of SAP technology, implementation of logistics systems, shipping, social and humanitarian disciplines. Has skills for successful management operation, management, planning and design of logistics systems, chains and networks in traditional production processes and also in fully automated, autonomous, unattended systems in terms of the Industry concept. He has sufficient knowledge and skills for problem analysis, identification of shortcomings and limitations with subsequent synthesis of solutions to defined problems for the respective participating profession. In his work, he uses knowledge from heuristic, quantitative and qualitative methods in industrial logistics, as well as computer and software support. He is able to solve problems arising from the operation of logistics systems independently and in a team, manage, coordinate, design and optimize logistics systems, apply heuristic, quantitative and qualitative methods in industrial logistics, identify shortcomings and limitations and apply procedures for streamlining and optimizing the operation of logistics systems, able to solve complex problems of operation of logistics systems.
