Architectural Engineering

The graduate of the study programme Civil Engineering and Architecture in the field of Civil Engineering focuses on the issue of designing buildings taking into account the wider social, economic and environmental contexts. The student is proficient in the use of 3D computer graphics and advanced computational procedures in the design and assessment of building structures and spaces in terms of statics, building physics, technical equipment of buildings and their environment. Can creatively develop basic theoretical knowledge towards a principled understanding of the issues and flexible mastery of tasks aimed at the development of complex design documentation for construction procedures and the implementation of residential buildings, including more complex land structures, as well as participate in the preparation and implementation of residential, non-residential, non-productive, manufacturing buildings, agricultural and other buildings and their renovation. The broad multidisciplinary profile of the graduate is complemented by language skills.
