Nursing
Graduates will find employment in the fields of health care, management and control, education and scientific work, prevention and health education, health insurance, public and state administration.
A graduate, after completing the statutory work experience, has the prerequisites for continuing in higher education of the field of study and in further education (specialization studies and certification training).

- a duly completed and signed application form with the required attachments, including the paid admission fee,
- successful completion of the bachelor's degree in the nursing study programme (submission of diploma or certificate of successful completion of the state bachelor's examinations no later than on the date of enrolment - does not apply to SMU graduates),
- exercise of the nursing profession at the time when the applicant applies for studies, but also during the studies.
Additional information
The Faculty of Nursing and Professional Health Studies of the Slovak Medical University in Bratislava reserves the right not to open Master's degree programmes in case of a lower number of applicants than the planned number.
It also reserves the right not to open any of these study programmes for other serious reasons.

- You must register your application electronically through the MAIS Academic Information System at https://mais.szu.sk/eprihlaska (Mozilla Firefox browser) and subsequently send the printed application form with the required attachments by post,
The application form must be accompanied by:
- a brief curriculum vitae,
- a doctor's certificate of medical fitness for university study and practice in the chosen study programme - required to be submitted with the application form,
- employer's confirmation of the applicant's employment status to be attached to the application form, future graduates on the date of enrolment,
- documents of bachelor's degree completion - diploma, diploma supplement and state examination certificate (photocopies certified by a notary or registry office), not applicable to SMU graduates,
- if the applicant is a first degree student at the time of application for university studies (applicants from other HEIs), he/she is obliged to enclose with the application a confirmation of studies in the relevant study programme. the documents of completion of bachelor studies and confirmation of employment shall be provided by the applicant no later than on the day of enrolment.
The applicant does not send a transcript of the results of the bachelor's studies.
