Management of Earth Sources

Graduates of the Bachelor's study program Management of Land Resources will acquire knowledge and skills in the field of technical and natural science disciplines, in the field of economics and business management, marketing, informatics, quality, and in the application of a set of economic statistical methods that can be used in planning, management analysis and control of the company. The study program Management of Land Resources is based on acquiring knowledge of economics and business management with land resources. The broad-spectrum based study program is specified through the subjects of socio-scientific, economic, managerial, typological and technological basis of the branches of the national economy, providing knowledge, abilities and skills in the field of sectoral economies and management, information technologies, language and communication skills forming prerequisites for applying in managerial and economic functions at lower levels of company management.

The study program Management of Land Resources will provide graduates with a broader professional profile with comprehensive, high-quality knowledge, for coping with a multicultural environment, with the prerequisites for successfully managing a business from the point of view of economics, statistical data processing, organization and production management, quality management, analysis of the financial situation and project management. with the possibility of applying as a qualified manager at lower levels of company management, or to work as an independent specialist in the specialized departments of the company, primarily in the department of economy, accounting and financial, environmental, project department of the company. The cross-sectional nature of the management of land resources, as well as the current development of the world economy, the emergence of large corporations, chains of companies and thus the large movement of goods, at the meta (global), macro (inter-enterprise), micro (intra-enterprise) level, show the need and application of graduates in real economic practice, on the labor market in the Slovak Republic and within Europe, because it is a transparent study program aimed at managing all aspects of a business within business and management in general.
