Engineering construction and traffic buildings

The graduate will be prepared either to study for a second cycle of higher education in his/her own or a related field of study, or to enter practice immediately. In accordance with the acquired theoretical knowledge, practical skills and abilities, he/she will be prepared for designing, construction and operation of civil engineering structures, transport structures as well as load-bearing structures of various types and purposes such as: bridges, overpasses, towers, masts, tanks, silos, roads, highways, airports, railways, tunnels, buildings, various non-production and production facilities, etc.

The student will be able to work in the field of civil engineering.

Can analyze problems in the preparation and execution of various types of construction, design simple structures, analyze and maintain a basic economic agenda.

Graduates of the Civil Engineering and Transportation Construction study programme will find employment in many professions of mechanical engineering and civil engineering. As a designer and design assistant, they can design simpler civil engineering structures and transportation structures as well as the load-bearing structures of buildings. As a foreman, assistant superintendent, and construction manager, he can provide construction of a variety of civil engineering and civil engineering structures. Graduates of the study programme will also find employment in state and local government bodies, environmental authorities and in organisations administering civil engineering and transport structures. He/she can also do business on the basis of a trade license in the field of construction and design of simple buildings.
