Information Systems
Master´s study programme Information Systems prepares graduates to find and present their own solutions to problems in the research, development, design and design of decision support software, information systems and computer systems. Graduates of the study programme will gain advanced knowledge of computer science and will be able to apply themselves at various levels of management in software companies, industrial enterprises, in the educational system, in both the public and private sectors, in banking, transport, health, ecology, etc. They can design, develop, implement, extend, adapt and localize large-scale applications and information systems. In addition, according to their specialization, they have the knowledge needed to build sophisticated decision support systems involving not only optimization but also the processing of uncertain data or the use of machine learning. They are able to work as application software developers, system analysts and programmers, while being able to make use of the knowledge they have acquired in the field of computer networks. They gain combined knowledge primarily in the field of computer science but also, to the extent necessary, in enterprise systems, which enables them to adapt flexibly to the work requirements in these organisations and to the requirements of the job market, or to run their own business in the field of computer science.
