Physiotherapy

Conditions of admission

-  external form of study:

- a completed and signed application form with the required attachments, including the paid admission fee,

- successful completion of the bachelor's degree programme in Physiotherapy (future graduates - submission of a diploma or a certificate of successful completion of the state bachelor's examinations no later than on the date of enrolment -not applicable to SMU graduates),

- successful completion of the bachelor's degree programme in Physiotherapy,

- exercise of the medical profession of physiotherapist at the time when the applicant applies for studies, but also during the studies,

- candidates will be admitted after fulfilling the prescribed conditions.

Additional information

The Faculty of Nursing and Professional Health Studies of the Slovak Medical University in Bratislava reserves the right not to open Master's degree programmes in case of a lower number of applicants than the planned number.

It also reserves the right not to open any of these study programmes for other serious reasons.

General information on the admission exam

- you must register your application electronically through the MAIS academic information system at https://mais.szu.sk/eprihlaska (Mozilla Firefox browser) and subsequently send the printed application form with the required attachments by post,

The application form must be accompanied by:

- a brief curriculum vitae,- a doctor's certificate of medical fitness for university studies and the exercise of the profession in the chosen study programme - required to be submitted with the application,

- documents certifying completion of bachelor studies - diploma, diploma supplement and state examination certificate (photocopies certified by a notary or registry office) - not applicable to SMU graduates

- employer's confirmation of employment (work in the relevant field) to be attached to the application form,

- if the applicant is a first degree student at the time of applying for higher education (applicants from other HEIs), he/she is obliged to attach to the application form a confirmation of studies in the relevant study programme. Evidence of completion of the bachelor's degree and confirmation of employment must be provided by the applicant at the latest on the day of enrolment.

The applicant shall not send a transcript of the results of the bachelor's studies.
