Security Services in Public Administration
Specialist or manager of public security services at lower levels of management of local state administration and local self-government in the field of general internal administration, fire protection, civil protection, defence and crisis management.

Full-time Bachelor's degree in the study programme Security and Legal Services
in public administration, applicants who:
a) have obtained a complete secondary education (complete secondary vocational education),
b) have successfully passed an entrance examination in which they have obtained the required number of points in a written test of knowledge in the content of the full secondary education,
c) are medically fit for studies, which they prove by confirming their medical fitness in the application form - medical certificate,
d) have paid a fee of €39 to cover the costs associated with the admissions process.

Conditions for international students
Any citizen of the Slovak Republic can apply to study at the Police Academy in Bratislava. Foreign applicants from EU member states are subject to the same admission conditions as applicants from Slovakia.
Applicants apply for bachelor studies on forms intended for university studies in the Slovak Republic (purchased in the ŠEVT; a sample form is also available in pdf format on the website of the Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic, or a printout of the electronic application from the IS MAIS of the Academy of the Police in Bratislava) and also an electronic application form. The application form together with the required documents should be sent individually to the study department of the Academy of Police Studies in Bratislava by 31.03.2025.
Form of entrance exam
The entrance examination for the Bachelor's degree in the study programme Security and Legal Services in Public Administration consists of a written knowledge test covering knowledge of history, social sciences, the basics of: philosophy, sociology, psychology, ethics, economics, informatics and a general political overview (within the scope of the content of a complete secondary education). The content of the knowledge test will be published on the website of the Academy of Police in Bratislava.
Tests
The entrance examination will be held on 6/2025 (specific date to be determined after registration of applications). The purpose of the entrance examination is to verify the applicant's aptitude for study in a comprehensive manner.
