Security worker - specialist, especially in state security services and organizations that implement specialized security activities in the field of security protection of persons and property.
Manager - at lower levels of management in the system of police and security services that implement specialized security activities in the field of security and legal protection of persons and property.
Application also in other entities that use knowledge in the field of security sciences, as well as in the field of principles of operation of technical means with a focus on systems of security-legal protection of persons and property. The graduate can continue his/her studies in the Master's degree

On the basis of an application, a candidate who:
a) has obtained a complete secondary education (complete secondary vocational education),
b) is a citizen of the Slovak Republic,
c) has successfully passed the recruitment procedure for the civil service of a member of the PZ, provided that the required conditions are met: he/she is medically, physically and mentally fit for the performance of the service, he/she is blameless, reliable, speaks the state language, has permanent residence in the territory of the Slovak Republic, as of the date of admission to the civil service he/she is not a member of a political party or a political movement, he/she has full legal capacity, he/she is not otherwise gainfully employed,
(d) has achieved the necessary number of points in a written test of knowledge within the scope of the content of full secondary education,
e) has paid a fee of €49 to cover the costs associated with the admissions process.

Conditions for international students
The application form together with the required documents shall be sent individually by the applicants to the study department of the Academy by 30.11.2024. Along with the application form in printed form, an electronic version of the application form shall be sent electronically at the same time. An incomplete application is invalid and will not be included in the admission procedure.
Form of entrance exam
The purpose of the entrance examination is to verify the applicant's qualifications for study, in particular to assess his or her knowledge, skills, abilities and aptitudes. The candidate shall take the entrance examination before the appropriate examination board. The board of examiners shall record an assessment of knowledge and an overall evaluation of the result of the admission test on the application form.
The entrance examination for the study programme Security of persons and property consists of:
- examination of proficiency in the state language and physical fitness,
- psychological examination,
- knowledge test.
The entrance examination will be a two-day examination. On the first day, the candidate will undergo a proficiency test in the state language and a physical fitness test. On the second day, the applicant will undergo a psychological examination. Candidates who successfully fulfil the conditions laid down for admission to the service of the PZ will be invited to take the knowledge test.
Admission procedure to the service of the PZ
1. Check of proficiency in the state language. Dictation and essay work (choice of several topics, size of work A4).
2. Physical fitness test:
Male candidates:
- 100m run,
- long jump,
- lightweight - sit-up in 2 minutes,
- moves repeatedly,
- run for 12 minutes,
- swim for 100 meters.
Female Candidates:
- 50-meter run,
- lightweight - sit-up in 2 minutes,
- endurance run,
- run for 12 minutes,
- swim for 100 meters.
3. Psychological examination. Duration of examination 5 - 6 hours; battery of personality and performance tests; personal interview with a service psychologist.4. Medical examination (information will be given to the candidate on the day of the entrance examination): Examination by a general practitioner (results + medical documentation); examination by a service doctor; assessment by a medical board.
5. Integrity and reliability of the applicant (information will be given to the applicant on the day of the entrance examination).
Knowledge test
Only those applicants who have fulfilled the required criteria, which presupposes that they have achieved at least the minimum scores set by the Rector separately in the physical fitness tests, separately in the state language proficiency tests and separately in the psychological examination, and the submitted medical report indicates that they are medically fit to study the study programme Security Law Protection of Persons and Property, will be admitted to the second round of the admission procedure, consisting of a written knowledge test.
