Automation and process control of raw materials extraction and processing

The aim of the education is to provide the graduate of the study program with basic information in the field of cybernetics with a focus on the field of automation and process control. A graduate of the study program Automation and management of processes of acquisition and processing of raw materials, bachelor's degree, is able to automate the collection, processing of data from the process, their monitoring, visualization (informatize processes), implement and ensure the functional operation of control and information systems of production and technological processes of acquisition at a professional level and processing of raw materials. His specific knowledge will be a good knowledge of the internal processes of production technology. In the preparation of these graduates, emphasis will be placed on a very good mastery of typical processes of heavy industry and their adequate mathematical models. This gives the prerequisites for the skilled handling of the operator of complex automated units.



Prospects of graduates

The study program Automation and management of the processes of acquisition and processing of raw materials will provide graduates with a broader professional profile with the possibility of employment in production, in the functions of professional workers and managers at various organizational levels in companies, industrial enterprises and business organizations focused on industry and automation. The cross-sectional nature of automation does not exclude the application of graduates in other sectors, including the economic and social sphere. Graduates have the knowledge and prerequisites for qualified management of the function of operator of complex automated units. Graduates are able to operate and design simple applications in the field of automation and process control.

Conditions of admission

For a study applicant, the admission procedure begins with the delivery of his study application to the faculty that conducts the relevant study program. FBERG accepts study applications for the 2023/2024 academic year only in the electronic version. The applicant for studies at FBERG does not have to print an electronic application and send it in paper form by post. The application must be delivered in electronic form without a guaranteed electronic signature using the academic information system TUKE (IS MAIS), which allows the applicant to verify its registration in the IS MAIS from the date of its submission until the end of the admission procedure. All attachments can be uploaded in .pdf format to IS MAIS (resume, certificates, graduation certificate, proof of payment of the fee for the material provision of the admission procedure and other attachments according to the faculty's requirements).
