Nutrition of humans
Graduate of the study program has teoretical knowledge of the role of nutrition in biological system, global and local nutrition policy and goals. He/she is educated in substance and energetic metabolism, physiology of nutrition and composition of food resources. He/she knows reasons of physiological and microbiological food changes, changes during food adjustment, store and conservation, knows the ground of hygienic and toxicological food quality assessment. Graduate is able to optimalize nutritional systems in praxix, analyse nutrition level in organisms, reasons of nutritional disbalance and predict disease status. Graduate is able to manage food processing, nutritional regimes within different groups of human population, modulate human diets and nutritional programs in health population.
Prospects of graduates
Graduates may work as main enginners of human nutrition and managers of different food processing enterprices and companies, catering enterprices and services, in control institutions for food and catering, as sanitary inspectors and hygienic officers, in research institutions and education.

Conditions for international students
Foreign applicants for the study from European Union member states or states that are party to the European Economic Area and Switzerland, the Republic of Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Republic of Montenegro, the Republic of Macedonia, Moldova, Republic of Serbia, Ukraine or citizens residing in a Member State shall take the same conditions as nationals of the Slovak Republic. Foreign bidders from other countries can apply for study at FAFR SUA in Nitra:
- on the basis of international agreements after the successful completion of language training at the Institute of Language and Training University in Bratislava,
-as a self-financing.
