Production Technologies
The graduate understands and has acquired broader theoretical and practical knowledge of production technologies and systems with the ability to creatively solve problems in the field of production, to seek new progressive technological procedures for the production of components and technological units using modern technological equipment and information systems. He/she is ready to continue his/her studies at a second level or to successfully enter the labour market. The graduate will find employment as an independent technologist or as a member of a work team in various areas of industry in both the public and private sectors.
Prospects of graduates
The graduate is prepared to operate in all fields of industrial production. S/he can look for creative solutions, implement them into production process. The graduate has also managerial, economic, legal, environmental and ethical awareness applicable in his/her job performance.
The graduate of the study programme can operate as an independent technologist or a team member in various industrial fields as well as in private sector. The graduate has sufficient knowledge applicable in technical preparation of the production, production process control and product quality evaluation.

Additional information
The faculty can be studied full-time, full-time or by a combined method.
Daily study can be done in Trnava or at the teaching centre in Dubnica nad Váhom. The first two semesters (one academic year) are taught in Dubnica nad Váhom. In the following year, teaching continues in Trnava. The teaching method used in the course is the attendance method and the combined method (distance-attendance), which does not require the daily presence of the student on the premises of the school. The combined method is recommended for applicants who are interested in studying alongside their employment.
First cycle:
- Bachelor's full-time study of 3 years duration, ending with a state examination, and graduates are awarded the academic degree of "Bachelor of Science" (B.Sc.). After successfully passing the state examination, the bachelor graduate can continue his/her studies at the second level or leave the faculty.
- During the third year, students may apply for engineering degree programmes if they choose to continue their studies at the second degree level.
Second Degree:
- Engineering full-time studies of 2 years, ending with a state examination and the academic degree of "Engineer" (Eng.). At the second level, the candidate can start studies only after obtaining the academic degree "Bachelor" at the first level.
