General Animal Production (full-time)
Doctoral study programme General Animal Production is focused on the realization of food resources of animal provenance and the creation of inputs for the production of functional foods while maintaining the basic requirements of their safety. The graduate masters the scientific methods of research and development in the field of general animal production. He/she is able to analyse the individual determinants characterising the internal environment of the animal organism and its relationship to environmental factors in accordance with the sustainable development of animal production.
Prospects of graduates
Graduates of the study programme General Animal Production can independently solve demanding tasks in the field of scientific methods of research, interpretation and prediction in the field of general animal production. Graduates of this study programme will find employment as university teachers, researchers and professionals in scientific and research institutions, in business entities of the agro-food sector.

- Graduate level II of higher education.
- Completeness of the submitted application form for doctoral studies, together with the annexes, within the specified deadline.

- The applicant for doctoral studies at FAPZ is a graduate of the relevant or related study programme under the accreditation of FAPZ. The conditions and requirements imposed on the applicant are specified in the specific topic for which the applicant has applied.

The Admissions Committee will evaluate and assign points for the following criteria to individual applicants for doctoral studies at the admission examination:
1. Participation and placement in a student research conference
a) Each candidate will be awarded 5 points for active participation in the SSC (paper or presentation). For passive participation (abstract in the proceedings), no points will be awarded.
b) 5 points will be awarded for the 1st place at the SSC.
Each placing from 1st place downwards reduces the point value by deducting 2 points up to 3rd place. No points will be awarded for lower placings.
2. Publication activity
According to the quality of the publications (as evidenced by separates), the candidate may receive a maximum of 10 points in total.
3. Study average
For applicants for full-time doctoral studies financed by the Ministry of Education and Science and applicants for external doctoral studies, the study average achieved at the university is taken into account up to an average of 2.00. No points are awarded for a study average of 2.00. The applicant may obtain a total of 40 points with an average of 1.00. For each additional one-tenth increase in the grade point average, 4 points will be deducted.
4. World language level
Full-time and part-time PhD applicants are required to have at least an intermediate level of proficiency in world languages according to the requirements of the topics listed. The world language entrance examination consists of a 30-item test which all applicants for doctoral studies must pass.
5. Level of expertise in the chosen field of science
The Admissions Committee will examine and evaluate the applicant's level of knowledge in the scientific area of the topic for which the applicant has applied by means of a scientific debate. The maximum number of points for the level of knowledge is 10.
