Conditions of admission
The basic condition for admission to the study programme of the second degree is a first-degree university degree or a second-degree university degree, while the sum of the number of credits obtained for the previous university study, which was used to obtain the university degree, and the number of credits required for the proper completion of the study programme of the second degree, to which the applicant applies, must be at least 300 credits (Section 56(3) of Act No.131/2002 Coll. on Higher Education and on Amendments and Supplements to Certain Acts, as amended).

Completion of a bachelor's degree programme Public Administration, European Public Administration or Information Systems in Public Administration at the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, Faculty of Public Administration or completion of a degree programme at another faculty or university, which is sufficiently compatible with the relevant bachelor study programme of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, Faculty of Public Administration, which is followed by the master study programme selected by the applicant (the level of compatibility is assessed by the person responsible for the study programme).

Application for studies must be submitted by 31.03.2025


Additional information
The application form is to be submitted:
• on the prescribed form (the applicant fills in the application form, signs it in his/her own handwriting, attaches the proof of payment of the fee, provides the relevant attachments and delivers it personally to the Study Office of the Faculty or sends it by post), or
• by e-application (preferred method) (the applicant fills in the electronic application form, clicks to send it, attaches the required attachments in pdf format to the electronic application form)

Attachments:
• Officially certified photocopy of proof of successful completion of university studies - university diploma or bachelor's degree ("Bc.")
• Certified transcript of completed university courses
• Proof of payment of the admission fee

Candidates who will take the state final examination in the academic year 2024/2025 are obliged to meet the deadline for submitting their application for studies and deliver the officially certified documents to the Study Office of the faculty without delay, no later than the day of enrolment for studies.
