British and American Studies
The graduate from the study branch of Philology in the degree programme of British and American Studies may find application in the positions of cultural and educational staff, librarians, editors and mass media worker with a focus on British and American cultural studies or translator of legal, medical, science, and technical texts. If the graduate completes the double major with another field, the linguistic level of their complementary English competence highly increases the possibility of their application in practice of the branch studied. Such a graduate also becomes an attractive product on the labour market in the area of European integration. The graduates is prepared to successfully continue their studies at the 2nd level of higher education.
