Conditions of admission

- university education of the second degree (Mgr.) in the field of study Physiotherapy
- completion of an oral debate before the committee
- presentation on the specified topic of the dissertation
- demonstration of English language skills level B2-C1
- list of published works (if the applicant has such)
Application form:
- confirmation of the completion of the master's degree and the acquisition of the degree "Mgr."
- second degree (Mgr.) in the field of Physiotherapy
- supplement to the diploma
- certificate of state examination (certified copies of the above documents - send upon receipt, do not have to be verified by graduates of the Faculty of Health Sciences UCM V Trnava)
- curriculum vitae
- confirmation of payment of the admission fee
- list of professional and scientific papers published so far
- other documents testifying to other professional and scientific activities
- outline project on the topic of the dissertation in accordance with the guidelines of the faculty

Additional information

There are two study programmes accredited at the Faculty of Physiotherapy in the first cycle of higher education in full-time and external form in the study programme Physiotherapy and in the study programme Radiological Technology. In the second level of higher education there is an accredited study programme Physiotherapy in full-time and part-time form. The third level of higher education of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava is provided in the study programme Physiotherapy in full-time and part-time form from AR 2022/2023.
The study is carried out under the guidance of experienced lecturers, external lectures are also given by top experts from other institutions. Practical teaching takes place in contracted medical facilities, e.g. in Piešt'any, Trnava, Bratislava, Kováčová and others. In addition to studying, students have the opportunity to engage in scientific activities, participate in professional congresses and symposia, and complete foreign internships. FZV organizes, supports social and sports activities of students.

Conditions for international students

The same admission conditions and good knowledge of the Slovak language apply to foreign students.

Evaluation of the admission procedure:
The admission procedure takes place in the form of an oral debate, where the applicant must obtain at least 70 out of 100 points.
Evaluation:
- project 50 points
- professional preparedness 25 points
- motivation 25 points
An unsuccessful applicant may submit a request to the Dean of the Faculty of Physical Sciences of the UCM for a review of the decision within 8 days of its receipt.
