The basic condition for admission is the completion of a bachelor's degree program in the same combination of subject specializations in teaching. Applicants will be admitted on the basis of their undergraduate results (weighted grade point average).

Graduates of the Master of Science in Academic Teaching programs acquire full teaching competency for lower and upper secondary education in their respective subject areas.

General conditions for applying for a Master's degree and submission guidelines
Application
The application form includes a confirmation of payment of the admission fee, certified copies of the diploma, the diploma supplement, the certificate of completion of the first cycle of higher education and a curriculum vitae.
Applicants who are completing their first cycle studies in the academic year 2024/2025 shall provide evidence of completion of studies
(university certificate of successful completion of the state examination) by 8.7.2025.
The faculty offers admission to more than one study programme, for each programme a separate application form must be completed and a separate fee paid.
Electronic application form must be confirmed by an accompanying hard copy application form with signature.
If an applicant fails to complete the required parts of the application within the time limit after being asked to complete the missing parts of the application, he/she shall be disqualified from the admission process. The admission fee will not be refunded.
