Technology and management in civil engineering
Graduates of the engineering program are capable of preparing and managing the construction of complex structures, managing a construction company, and conducting research with a high degree of creativity and independence. Emphasis is placed on ensuring that graduates acquire in-depth knowledge in the theory of construction technology, can manage a team of workers in the preparation and execution of construction projects, and are capable of independently leading large projects and taking responsibility for complex solutions. The graduate is able to apply and develop the theoretical knowledge gained, analyze systems, and optimize processes and solutions. Graduates of the program are capable of understanding and addressing problems at the regional level while working within the self-governing regions (VÚC).
Prospects of graduates
Upon completing the second level of higher education, the program graduate will be employed in the preparation and execution of all types of constructions and groups of constructions at higher and managerial levels:
- Chief construction manager, chief construction supervisor
- Interdisciplinary expert in the economics and management of construction
- Lead engineer of construction technology projects
- Quality manager of a construction company
- Head of construction departments in public administration and self-government
- State construction supervision and oversight
- Manager and coordinator of occupational safety and health
- Conceptual worker in standardization activities
- Conceptual worker in construction and regional development
- Expert in the field of expert activities.

The admission process will take place in the form of a selection procedure, without the personal participation of candidates and without entrance exams.
The basic conditions for admission are:
- Successful completion of the first (bachelor's) degree of study.
- Successful completion of a program or field with a structure of completed subjects that ensures eligibility to continue in engineering studies.
Assessment of the candidate's eligibility for engineering studies:
- The fulfillment of the first-degree education requirements and eligibility for engineering studies will be assessed by the admission committee.
- Fulfillment of the first condition for education is considered eligibility to continue in engineering studies.
- The fulfillment of the second condition for education will be assessed by the admission committee based on the structure and content of the subjects completed in the previous study. Eligibility may be conditioned upon admission to the program by enrolling in up to two additional courses based on the recommendation of the program guarantor for the study program to which the candidate is applying.

Conditions for international students
- For applicants from abroad, the condition for admission is the recognition of their educational certificate, which the applicant is required to submit no later than the day of enrollment. - If the applicant for study is a person who has been granted asylum or provided with subsidiary protection, the requirement for obtaining a first-degree or second-degree higher education may be demonstrated by a sworn statement. At the time of enrollment, it is necessary to submit or email a request for recognition of the educational document and the subsequent decision regarding the recognition of the educational document.
- If the applicant for study is a person who has been granted temporary refuge, the requirement for obtaining a first-degree or second-degree higher education may also be demonstrated by a sworn statement. At the time of enrollment, it is necessary to submit apostilled documents and a request for recognition of the educational document, along with the decision on the recognition of the educational document.
