Environmental Protection Technologies
The rules and conditions of admission to study first, second and third degree study programmes conducted at STU are laid down in a special internal regulation of STU. The basic condition for admission to the study programme of the first degree is the acquisition of complete secondary education or complete secondary vocational education. The results achieved at secondary school shall be evaluated by means of a scoring system. The scoring system includes: the academic average throughout secondary education, the matriculation results, the average grade in the profiling subjects - mathematics, physics, the type of secondary school and other activities. The admission procedure may include written entrance examinations in secondary school mathematics and physics; the results of these examinations will also be expressed in points.
Prospects of graduates
The structure and quality of the educational process is the basis for the successful application of bachelor graduates in practice. A high proportion of project work and production and professional practice of 6 weeks create good prerequisites for rapid adaptation of graduates to the requirements of practice. Graduates will find employment in a wide variety of plants and design departments in the energy, gas, food and chemical industries, as well as in the municipal waste management sector, where a bachelor's degree is required.
