Graduates of the Ph.D. degree have considerable theoretical knowledge in the research field of Space Engineering, gaining scientific knowledge, experimental, design, simulation and practical experience in the key subjects of electrical engineering, electronics, robotics, computer science, sensors, microsystems engineering, electrical engineering and applied physics, such as: Signal and Systems Analysis, Electronic Systems for Space Control, Numerical Image Processing Methods, Advanced Control Methods, Navigation Systems, Robotics for Space Applications, Microsystems for Space Applications, Space Technology and Materials, Mathematical Computer Simulation of Systems, and Space Vehicle Design, which are required for the design and development of applications in space engineering.

Graduates will find employment not only in the field of space research, space engineering, advanced and intelligent electronic and electrotechnical systems, but also in related areas of industry, such as robotics, mechatronics, informatics, telecommunications, microelectronics, optoelectronics, sensors, microsystems technology, automotive industry (mechanical engineering), and others. Employment is not only limited to jobs in the Slovak Republic, but also abroad, where graduates can offer their high expertise in the above-mentioned industries.
