Strategy and Entrepreneurship
In the Master's degree students will acquire comprehensive knowledge of strategic management of the organization, business and other areas of management, they will be able to navigate in the international environment.
Based on the acquired knowledge and practical experience, our graduates will be able to analyze the external and internal environment and trends within them, accordingly identify business opportunities and design strategies for their development within new as well as existing businesses, their implementation, as well as measuring their impact on the company and its surroundings, in terms of economic, environmental and social sustainability, as well as ethical responsibility.
These skills, essential for the performance of senior managerial, entrepreneurial and professional functions in organizations of different sizes, will be acquired through the practical application of the acquired theoretical knowledge, the development of communication and analytical skills, as well as in the process of linking theoretical and methodological teaching with the practical solution of assignments from specific start-up as well as established national and international companies.
Prospects of graduates
Our students and graduates acquire during their studies the ability to formulate, present and defend their own ideas in front of practitioners (also in English). At the same time, they are able to apply some of the advanced research techniques in strategy, business and management in a way that enables them to acquire new information.

Basic requirement - completion of a first degree programme (completed bachelor's degree) or a second cycle university degree (comprehensive master's or engineering degree).
Additional information
A candidate for study at the Faculty of Management of the UK will use the electronic application form via the UK Electronic Application Portal (https://e-prihlaska.uniba.sk/) or the AIS2 system, from which he/she will also receive payment instructions.
Each applicant may submit only one application for a full-time Master's degree programme taught in the Slovak language. In the application form, the applicant shall indicate which study programmes he/she is interested in, in the order of their importance (max. 2 study programmes). If the applicant fulfils the admission requirements for both study programmes, he/she will be admitted to the one listed in the application in 1st place.

Only applications that are complete are accepted by the Study Department.
Conditions for international students
The condition for the admission of foreigners (including compatriots) who have completed their previous studies abroad is the demonstration of the necessary eligibility in the same way as in the case of citizens of the Slovak Republic, which follows from the provisions of Section 56(3) of the Higher Education Act. The applicant shall submit a document on recognition of education - Decision on recognition of the document on education in accordance with Act No 422/2015 Coll. on recognition of documents on education and on recognition of professional qualifications and on amendment and supplementation of certain acts, as amended.

Conditions of admission without the entrance exam
Bachelor's degree graduates at FM UK will be admitted without an entrance exam. For other applicants, the study average for the bachelor's degree (or a comprehensive master's or engineering degree) after rounding to one decimal place up to 1.8 will be taken into account; for students from the fields of study Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or Cybernetics who have had courses in economics and management during their previous studies at the university, the average up to 2.0 will be taken into account.
The students will be admitted to the Faculty of Economics and Management.

Oral exam in Slovak language in front of the commission (interview on professional topics of economics, finance, management, marketing, business), and also demonstration of knowledge of English language.
