BASIC CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSION TO THE STUDY
The basic condition for admission of a student to the engineering study is the completion of the study programme of the first degree and its successful completion by the state examination.
The admission procedure for the engineering degree at the FAPZ SPU in Nitra is carried out in accordance with §55, §56, §57 and §58 of Act No.131/2002 Coll. on Higher Education and in accordance with the Study Regulations of the SPU in Nitra and the Statute of the FAPZ SPU in Nitra.
OTHER CONDITIONS OF ADMISSION TO THE STUDY
1. Continuity of the study programme to the completed Bc. degree.
2. Applicants interested in the study shall send an electronic application form within the specified deadline.

Conditions for international students

Foreign applicants from Member States of the European Union or States that are contracting parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area or citizens with permanent residence in a Member State will be admitted under the same conditions as citizens of the Slovak Republic. Foreign applicants from other countries may apply to study at FAPZ SPU in Nitra after successful completion of the Slovak language studies and a certificate of successful completion.

Foreign applicants, or applicants who have completed the first stage of higher education abroad, are obliged to attach to the application form, or to the Application Form in addition to the mandatory attachments, also a Decision on recognition of a document on education.

Decision on recognition of the educational document (recognition of the educational degree without comparison of the field of study) is issued by the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic, if the recognition of the degree is requested by an applicant whose educational document was issued in a state with which an international bilateral agreement has been signed, but also by an applicant from any other state for the purpose of proving the fulfilment of the basic condition for admission to the study. Decision on the recognition of a diploma of education (recognition of a diploma of education in a field of study) is issued by a higher education institution in the Slovak Republic which pursues a study programme in the same or a related field of study as that indicated on the diploma of duly completed higher education.
