Automotive Transport Systems
The graduate of the study programme has knowledge of the theory of basic engineering disciplines and the theory and design of transport and handling equipment. He/she knows the technical and operational characteristics of transport and handling technology in the scope necessary for the rational use of this technology in real operating conditions. Knows the methods and principles of management of transport and handling systems, including their effective use, as well as systems of economic analysis within the scope of his/her professional competence.
Prospects of graduates
Graduates of the study programme are employed in all companies and firms engaged in transport and material handling, as well as in the transport of persons They can be employed in any company that owns and uses transport machinery and equipment for its production and non-production activities. The practical application of graduates is conditioned both by the achieved level of automobile transport and its further development, whether it is national or international transport, and also by the increasing requirements for the transport of a wide range of materials, goods and finished products. Graduates are able to find employment in service companies, logistics centres and also in service centres and repair shops focusing on the repair and maintenance of transport machinery and equipment.
