Automotive Transport
Graduates of the Automotive Transport study programme are able to analyse technical problems and opportunities that open up in various areas of machinery and equipment in automotive transport. They can design parts of systems and entire systems to meet requirements, create such systems and implement them on site. Graduates must be able to work with managers, system users and specialists from other professions. It also requires knowledge of business, organisations and management. Graduates of the programme have an understanding of engineering systems theory and its application to design, technological and operational problems.
Prospects of graduates
Graduates of the study programme find employment in various sectors of the economy, both in the public and private sector, both in agricultural and other technical and industrial enterprises. They are able to design and manage technical systems for the transport of materials and people in agriculture, municipal services and other sectors. They are familiar with the problems of managing the operation and ensuring the reliability of technical means of transport and handling in the above-mentioned areas. They can also work in teams of developers, technologists and operational engineers.

In the admission interviews, the results of the secondary school studies in mathematics and physics are taken into account (if the candidate has not taken physics in the secondary school for 4 years, another science subject, a vocational technical subject or computer science is taken into account in the relevant years). The results of the school-leaving examination will also be taken into account in the scoring.Each applicant will undergo only one admission test - an oral interview - and will be given information about the admissions procedure and an invitation to a specific date on which he or she will be interviewed. Proof of payment of the admissions fee must accompany the application form.

Conditions for international students
Foreign applicants who apply to study a foreign programme in the Slovak language are admitted under the same conditions as citizens of the Slovak Republic. Requirements:
- Proof of knowledge of the Slovene language,
- nostrified proof of secondary school graduation.

A candidate may apply for two study programmes on one application form. The faculty will send applicants detailed information about the admission procedure at least one month before the admission interviews. The application form must be accompanied by proof of payment of the admission fee and a curriculum vitae. Without this, the application will not be registered. For the overall assessment of the admissions procedure for the first cycle of studies, the academic results from secondary school are taken into account; you must therefore bring to the admissions interviews the original report cards from each year of secondary school and a certified copy of your school leaving certificate. After successful completion of the bachelor's degree, students may continue their engineering studies in one of the above-mentioned study programmes.
