Prospects of graduates
The graduates of the professionally oriented bachelor's degree programme Slovak language in communication of the deaf have linguistic knowledge of the Slovak language and know the structure of Slovak sign language. Graduates acquire comprehensive competence to use Slovak language and Slovak sign language professionally and to perform the role of interpreter between hearing and deaf communicators. They will find employment in state and public administration, the third sector, cultural institutions, the media and wherever there is a need to interpret from spoken language to sign language and vice versa.

The application form includes a receipt for payment of the admission fee, certified copies of the applicant's annual report cards, high school diploma and curriculum vitae. The applicant is required to submit his/her certified 4th year report and certified school leaving certificate by 13.6.2025.
Applicants will be admitted on the basis of the results of the talent test and motivational interview. The talent test consists of verification of minimum competencies (adequate visual perception, good spatial imagination, fine motor skills, good visual memory).
The faculty may apply for admission to more than one program of study; a separate application form and fee must be completed for each program.
