Characteristics of the study programme
The graduate will acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of general, special and applied psychological disciplines, as well as in the field of psychological diagnostics and methodology. The acquired knowledge and skills are relevant for practice in specialized psychological disciplines (especially clinical and counseling psychology, educational and school psychology, organizational and occupational psychology) and for the field of psychological research (being able to critically evaluate current research, to design, implement and present more demanding research in all its phases), the graduate's application in the position of a psychologist.
Prospects of graduates
The graduate has the professional knowledge, skills and personal qualities to be able to apply at an appropriate professional level to the position of psychologist in various areas of counselling, clinical, occupational and organisational psychology.

Basic Admission Requirements:
The basic condition for admission to the Master's programme is the completion of the Bachelor's degree and the presentation of a legally valid document (according to Section 56(2) of Act No. 131/2002 on Higher Education).
Applicants who do not fulfil the basic condition for admission by the deadline set for the fulfilment of the basic condition for admission, but who fulfil the other basic conditions for admission to the study set by the FSVaZ and at the same time obtain the necessary number of points for admission, may be admitted to the study with the proviso that they are obliged to prove fulfilment of the basic condition no later than on the date set for enrolment in the study (pursuant to Section 58(1) of Act No 131/2002 on Higher Education Institutions of Higher Education).
