Industrial Management
The graduate understands socio-technical systems integrating human resources, information, materials, equipment and processes within the complex life cycle of products and services. He/she has basic knowledge of natural sciences, engineering, technology and humanities disciplines, as well as knowledge of the basics of informatics and specific knowledge of industrial engineering with a focus on business economics, business management, production management, marketing, accounting, etc., with an emphasis on the practical application of the above knowledge. The graduate will find employment as a member of a creative team or as its leader in organizations of various industries, especially in management units of lower levels, technical units of plants and factories, is able to establish and lead small companies or be a member of the management of individual components of larger organizations.
Prospects of graduates
The graduate can operate, communicate and handle conflicts in work teams. S/he masters topical information-communication technologies and implements them efficiently in practice. The graduate has also managerial, economic, legal, environmental and ethical awareness applicable in his/her job performance.
The graduate can operate mainly as a member of a creative team, or as its leader in organizations of various industrial branches, particularly on first-line and middle management levels of industrial plants; nevertheless, the graduate can also set up and lead a small company or association or enter the management team of individual parts in larger organizations.

Additional information
The faculty can be studied full-time, full-time or by a combined method.
Daily study can be done in Trnava or at the teaching centre in Dubnica nad Váhom. The first two semesters (one academic year) are taught in Dubnica nad Váhom. In the following year, teaching continues in Trnava. The teaching method used in the course is the attendance method and the combined method (distance-attendance), which does not require the daily presence of the student on the premises of the school. The combined method is recommended for applicants who are interested in studying alongside their employment.
First cycle:
- Bachelor's full-time study of 3 years duration, ending with a state examination, and graduates are awarded the academic degree of "Bachelor of Science" (B.Sc.). After successfully passing the state examination, the bachelor graduate can continue his/her studies at the second level or leave the faculty.
- During the third year, students may apply for engineering degree programmes if they choose to continue their studies at the second degree level.
Second Degree:
- Engineering full-time studies of 2 years, ending with a state examination and the academic degree of "Engineer" (Eng.). At the second level, the candidate can start studies only after obtaining the academic degree "Bachelor" at the first level.

- In the application form, the applicant shall indicate one of the bachelor's degree programmes he/she wishes to study.
- If the applicant is interested in studying the first year of studies at the Dubnica nad Váhom Learning Centre, he/she shall indicate this when creating the e-application for studies. The printed application form for studies in Trnava or Dubnica is delivered to the faculty's address in Trnava.
- After processing the application (during April), the faculty will confirm in writing that the application has been accepted and will send information about the admission procedure.
Mandatory attachments are:
- resume
- receipt of payment - see www.mtf.stuba.sk
- graduating in the 2017/2018 school year - include a scan of a report card of grades and averages from high school for the last three years successfully completed (not including the midterm of the current year) in the application form. Immediately after graduation, scan a certified copy of the graduation certificate and the final year certificate into the application form and deliver them to the faculty by the deadline (to be verified at the registry office/respectively at a notary, the accuracy of the data can also be confirmed by the secondary school),
- graduates before 2018 shall include in the application form a scan of the completed report of grades and averages from the last four years of secondary school + the graduation certificate (in the case of 5-year studies, list the grades and averages from the 2nd to the 5th year). At the same time, by the deadline set for the submission of applications, he/she delivers a certified copy of the matriculation certificate and the final year certificate to the faculty (to be verified at the registry office/respectively at a notary
- medical certificate of competence is not required by the faculty
