The Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in Slovak language is divided into three years, focusing on communication, people management, and business management.

The graduate receives a Slovak accredited diploma and the academic degree of Bachelor in the field of study 8. Economics and Management , study program: business management.

Prospects of graduates

Students apply for middle and top management positions, especially in multinational companies operating in our country, as they are linguistically equipped and prepared for practice thanks to teaching that is oriented in this way. At the same time, they are prepared to continue their studies in an MSc or, after improving their language skills to the required level, also in an MBA.

Conditions of admission

1. Proof of education

3. Enrollment fee 50 €

The application form can be found on the website http://www.vsm.sk/svk/uchadzaci/prihlaska.html. The application form should be completed and sent to the department at which the applicant is interested in studying. There is an application fee of 50 €. In addition, a notarised photocopy of the school leaving certificate must be delivered to the school. The study programme offered can be studied full-time or online, or combined (full-time/online).

Additional information

Secondary school graduates with a high school diploma are admitted to study in the Slovak language without an entrance examination. New students can be admitted up to 3 times a year and always at the beginning of the trimester (October, January, April).

Bachelor's studies are spread over three years. After achieving 180 credits, the student completes a final thesis defence at the end of the study. Upon successful completion of all requirements, the school will award the graduate a Bachelor's degree in Business Management. Upon successful completion of their studies and after completing a specified number of courses, graduates may also earn a City University of Seattle (BSBA) accredited bachelor's degree in business administration in the U.S.

As part of the bachelor's degree, students can choose the specialization "Marketing". Marketing specialization will allow to broaden the professional profile of a graduate of the VŠM and thus increase its value on the labour market. Courses are offered in Slovak language, but are intended for all Bachelor programmes. After completing the specialization, the student will be prepared to create complex marketing plans, prepare, manage and control campaigns. The graduate will be able to solve tasks related to the company's market positioning in the national and international environment, market analysis and marketing research, creation of an adequate marketing mix with special attention to communication mix tools, creation of advertising campaigns and solving the problem of public relations as a tool for managing the reputation of the organization.
