Computer-Aided Production Technologies
The graduate of the study programme Computer Support of Production Technologies in the field of Production Technologies is able to perform the profession of a production technologist with advanced skills in the control of computer technology, CAx systems and CAx technologies used in the preparation and management of production, is able to independently create technical documentation and design with computer support, create programs for CNC-controlled production machines. Model complex 3D products and simulate the preparation of their production, is able to apply in the implementation and operation of production technology systems as a CAD/CAM technologist, designer of production tools and jigs, in the field of technical preparation of production and in the programming of NC technology and production systems using computer technology and appropriate software.
Prospects of graduates
The graduates can operate in implementation and operation of production-technological systems as CAD/CAM technologists, CA operators of technological offices, constructors of production tools and fixtures, in the field of technical preparation of production and in programming CNC technology and production systems.
The graduates of the study programme can successfully enter the job market in the field as they are frequently headhunted during their study.

Additional information
The faculty can be studied full-time, full-time or by a combined method.
Daily study can be done in Trnava, or in teaching centres in Dubnica nad Váhom, Brezno, Levice. The first two semesters (one academic year) are taught in the teaching centres. In the following year, teaching continues in Trnava. The teaching method used in the course is the attendance method and the combined method (distance-attendance), which does not require the student's daily presence in the school premises. The combined method is recommended for applicants who are interested in studying alongside their employment.
First level:
- Bachelor's full-time study of 3 years duration, ending with a state examination, and graduates are awarded the academic degree of "Bachelor of Science" (B.Sc.). After successfully passing the state examination, the bachelor graduate can continue his/her studies at the second level or leave the faculty.
- During the third year, students may apply for engineering degree programmes if they choose to continue their studies at the second degree level.
Second Degree:
- Engineering full-time studies of 2 years, ending with a state examination and the academic degree of "Engineer" (Eng.). At the second level, the candidate can start studies only after obtaining the academic degree "Bachelor" at the first level.
