The study programme law, accredited in the field of study law within the system of study fields in the Slovak Republic, is a study programme of the first degree of higher education. The study is carried out at the Faculty of Law of the Pan-European University of Law (PEVŠ). Lectures and seminars are provided by lecturers from various cooperating colleges and universities. Graduates of the study programme acquire a substantial body of general knowledge in the basic branches of the legal sciences, making the Bachelor's degree programme a starting point for future specialisation or further Master's studies.

The basic condition for admission to bachelor studies at the Faculty of Law of the PEVŠ, in both full-time and part-time form of study, is the acquisition of a complete secondary education or a complete secondary vocational education and fulfillment of other conditions of the admission procedure.

E-application process
E-application form is only filed electronically, it is not printed! E-application will be considered complete only if it has all the sections correctly filled in: Personal details, Applicant's address, Application details. The admission fee must also be paid.
The applicant will be informed about the status of his/her e-application by e-mail communication:
1. e-mail message - about the registration of the e-application by the information system,
2. e-mail message - confirming the receipt of payment - after the payment of the admission fee,
3. e-mail message - about the acceptance of the complete e-application by the faculty (this message must be received by the applicant no later than 14 days after the last date for the submission of applications).
Required attachments to the e-application:
- CV, In the application form, the applicant indicates in which language (English/German) he/she will take the written language competency test,
- matriculation certificate (certified photocopy; if applicants are matriculating in the same school year as the entrance examination, they must submit their matriculation certificate no later than the day of the entrance examination),
- proof of payment of the application fee - the applicant then sendsto the address of the faculty: Faculty of Law PEVŠ, Tomášikova 20, 821 02 Bratislava. The application form is submitted separately for full-time and part-time studies, the fee is paid for each form of study separately.

The applicant shall submit an electronic application form for the Bachelor's degree - first cycle within the set deadline.
Conditions for international students
Foreigners study as: a) students according to the Higher Education Act and the study regulations of the school, b) on the basis of international treaties to which the Slovak Republic is bound, c) on the basis of cooperation agreements, international programmes and programmes of the European Union. Foreign applicants and applicants who have completed their secondary education or part thereof abroad are obliged, pursuant to Act No 596/2003 Coll. on state administration in education and school self-government and on amendment and supplementation of certain regulations, as amended, to apply to the relevant regional education authority for recognition (nostrification) of the document of education of a graduate of secondary school abroad, or for the issuance of a certificate of equivalence of the document of education (in the case of states with which the Slovak Republic has concluded an agreement on mutual recognition of documents of education).

Conditions of admission without the entrance exam
The Dean of the Faculty of PEVŠ may decide on the applicant's admission to study even without admission interviews:
1. If the requirements according to the Admission Procedure Principles (points a to d) are fulfilled.
2. If the applicant has obtained a first- or second-level education in a field of study related to the field of study "law" in the Slovak Republic or in another EU Member State and at the same time
3. if the applicant simultaneously fulfills the other formal requirements within the deadline specified in the schedule - in particular, the submission of the electronic application form for studies by the specified deadline (including all attachments) and the payment of the admission fee according to this point in the amount of EUR 20.

Any candidate who submits a complete e-application form and sends the required attachments by post within the stipulated time limit will be included in the admission process.
