The study programme law, accredited in the field of study law within the system of study fields in the Slovak Republic, is a second degree study programme of higher education. The study is carried out at the Faculty of Law of the Pan-European University of Law (PEVŠ). Lectures and seminars are provided by lecturers from various cooperating colleges and universities. Graduates of the study programme receive a full legal education with a possible choice of a composition of subjects in the chosen field of study in addition to general studies in law with a specialisation in international and European law. Graduation from the Master's degree programme in law is a prerequisite for the practice of law in the Slovak Republic.

Applicants for Master's studies at the Faculty of Law of PEVŠ must meet the following conditions:
- successful completion of the bachelor's degree by passing the state examination consisting of the subjects defence of the bachelor's thesis and administrative law,
- submission of an electronic application form for the undergraduate master's degree - second cycle, together with proof of payment of the admission fee,
- applicants who have completed bachelor studies in the study programme/field of law at the Faculty of Law of the Faculty of Law of the PEVŠ, shall submit copies of the university diploma, diploma supplement and state examination certificate (copies do not have to be notarised) and a short structured curriculum vitae.
- Master's degree in law
- applicants who have completed their undergraduate studies at another law faculty shall submit a university diploma, a diploma supplement and a state examination certificate (notarised photocopies), proving successful completion of a first-degree study programme in the study programme/field of law, and a short structured curriculum vitae.
- bachelor's degree in law completed at a foreign university may be recognised on the basis of a written application of the applicant and a positive decision of the Rector of the PEVŠ in accordance with generally binding legislation and the Directive of the Rector of the PEVŠ on the Recognition of Educational Documents, unless otherwise follows from specific legislation.
Conditions for international students
Foreigners study as: a) students according to the Higher Education Act and the study regulations of the school, b) on the basis of international treaties to which the Slovak Republic is bound, c) on the basis of cooperation agreements, international programmes and programmes of the European Union. Foreign applicants and applicants who have completed their secondary education or part thereof abroad are obliged, pursuant to Act No 596/2003 Coll. on state administration in education and school self-government and on amendment and supplementation of certain regulations, as amended, to apply to the relevant regional education authority for recognition (nostrification) of the document of education of a graduate of secondary school abroad, or for the issuance of a certificate of equivalence of the document of education (in the case of states with which the Slovak Republic has concluded an agreement on mutual recognition of documents of education).

Applicants for Master's studies at the Faculty of Law of PEVŠ must meet the following conditions:

Information for students who have completed their bachelor's degree in law at another university (other than FP PEVŠ) that due to capacity reasons, the faculty reserves the right to select admitted candidates for studies at the master's degree level on the basis of the order of academic results achieved at the bachelor's degree level in the case of high interest.
