Mineralurgy and environmental technologies

The Mineralogy and Environmental Technologies study program will provide graduates with a broader professional profile, with comprehensive, high-quality knowledge of mineral raw materials and their use, the chemistry of materials, they also know the physical and chemical nature of the processes used within their specialization and their impact on the complexity and difficulty of technologies. The graduate understands the issue of treatment - refinement of mineral (coal, ore and non-ore) raw materials with the aim of their further utilization in various areas of the economy, so he is able to design, apply, optimize, construct and manage treatment technologies. Can design, model and project technologies for treatment and processing of primary and secondary raw materials.

Graduates of the study program are able to work in organizations dealing with monitoring and evaluating the state of the environment, issues of waste management, and environmental impact assessment. Possible application is in the state and private sphere - in state administration, local self-government, related to the environment, in industrial enterprises whose activity is related to the processing of raw materials, in various environmental organizations.
