International Management
The Master's degree programme in International Management in the field of study Economics and Management includes a system of education that is oriented towards management in the international environment in relation to the impact of globalization and integration processes that have triggered the rapid development of international business. Education is focused on the study of international management, international marketing, competition, state aid, regional policy, project management, international finance and international investment. Emphasis is placed on multinational and transnational corporations and their importance, theories and methods of strategic management from the perspective of internationalization of business. Students will gain knowledge of the economic policies of the European Union as well as an overview of the adaptation of managerial functions in the international business environment. They will then be able to evaluate the activities of international managers in different forms of multinational companies. Through their studies, students will acquire professional habits and teamwork skills. In addition to a wide range of professional subjects, the study is complemented by various activities and excursions that increase the opportunities for graduates to apply their skills in economic practice. Part of the study is carried out in cooperation with foreign lecturers in French or German, so that graduates are better prepared to work in an international environment. Internships in companies are a standard feature of the study programme.
Prospects of graduates
The graduates of this programme have found very good employment in practice after completing their studies and the acquired knowledge, experience, insights and especially language skills have significantly increased their salary evaluation on the Slovak labour market.

The basic condition for the admission of an applicant to the study programme of the second degree of the university, which results from the provision of Section 56 (3) of the Higher Education Act as amended, is the completion of the first degree study programme (completed bachelor's degree) or the second degree university education (comprehensive master's or engineering studies).
Additional information
Applicants for studies at the Faculty of Management Comenius University Bratislava will use the electronic application form via the UK Electronic Application Portal (https://e-prihlaska.uniba.sk/) or the AIS2 system, from which they will also receive payment instructions. The electronic application form does not need to be printed.
Conditions for international students
The condition for the admission of foreigners (including compatriots) who have completed their previous studies abroad is the demonstration of the necessary eligibility in the same way as in the case of citizens of the Slovak Republic, which follows from the provisions of Section 56(3) of the Higher Education Act. The applicant shall submit a document on recognition of education - Decision on recognition of the document on education in accordance with Act No 422/2015 Coll. on recognition of documents on education and on recognition of professional qualifications and on amendment and supplementation of certain acts, as amended.

Conditions of admission without the entrance exam
For applicants, the study average for undergraduate studies (or a comprehensive master's or engineering degree), rounded to one decimal place, is taken into account up to 1.8; for students from Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or Cybernetics who have taken courses in economics and management during their previous studies at the university, the average is up to 2.0.
