Mechatronické systémy
The Mechatronic Systems study programme is designed to provide the knowledge and skills necessary for independent research and scientific work in the field of Mechatronics with a narrower focus on automotive, biotechnological, micro and nanomechatronic systems. The study part of the programme includes compulsory and elective courses extending the theoretical knowledge of computational and applied mechanics, automation and control, applied electronics and information and communication technologies. The subjects of the individual study plan are selected in accordance with the focus of the dissertation topic. The scientific part of the programme is focused on solving research tasks, bringing new knowledge and ways of solving innovative problems and presenting the results of the solution in the form of technical reports, conference papers and journal articles. Graduates of the programme are familiar with scientific research methods and are prepared to handle the most demanding tasks in the design and diagnostics of mechatronic systems in technical practice.
Prospects of graduates
Graduates of the programme have the knowledge and skills necessary for independent research and scientific work in the field of Mechatronics with a narrower focus on mechatronic systems for the automotive industry and electromobility, bio, micro, nano and information and communication technologies. They are able to carry out the design of (smart) mechatronic systems and their computer modelling as well as simulation and diagnostics for even the most demanding applications in mechanical, electrical and applied informatics engineering and to lead a research team.
