The master's degree offers in-depth study in financial management, strategic management, marketing management, management of information systems, business ethics, and organizational behaviour, which enable the acquisition of comprehensive knowledge about managing different crucial aspects in companies.
The master's degree offers two main study trajectories: Finance&Strategy, and IT&Marketing.
The use of managerial skills is universal. In practice, however, it is increasingly in demand due to automation and robotization in industry, the expansion of Business Shared Services Centres and other international organizations in Slovakia. Graduates find employment in positions ranging from a business specialist, business analyst, company director, finance or personnel director, sales manager, quality manager, marketing specialist or marketing manager, process owner, consultant, or project manager. Particular topics of interest can be developed when writing a master's thesis.
The master's degree also offers opportunities for Erasmus+ mobility within the entire EU and Erasmus+ internships in companies.

Basic requirement - completion of a first degree programme (completed bachelor's degree) or a second cycle university degree (comprehensive master's or engineering degree).

Mandatory attachments to the electronic application form for applicants - citizens of the Slovak Republic

- certified copy of the bachelor's (master's, engineering) diploma, state examination certificate and the supplement to the diploma or, if the applicant has not yet been issued a diploma, a confirmation of the completion of studies issued by the study department of the faculty

- in the case of applicants who have studied at a school outside the Slovak Republic, a Decision on recognition of a document of education = nostrification of a document of education in accordance with Act No. 422/2015 Coll. on recognition of documents of education and on recognition of professional qualifications and on amendment and supplementation of certain acts, as amended - a certified copy must be delivered to the faculty in paper form

- CV in English

- cover letter in English

- proof of payment of the admission fee

- certified copy of the translation of the birth certificate in Slovak language

- copy of the passport or residence document of the foreigner

Conditions of admission without the entrance exam

Without the obligation to take an entrance examination, those applicants for study in study programmes accredited and offered by the Faculty who: a. provide evidence of B2 level certificates (e.g. TOEFL, IELTS, CAE, and CPE), or b. provide evidence of excellent study results for the entire bachelor's study, or for a comprehensive master's or engineering study (GPA 3.5 and above) will be admitted to the study, according to the sequence specified in point 13. Graduates of the Bachelor's degree at FM UK will be admitted without an entrance examination.

General information on the admission exam

The entrance examination for the study programme taught in English (Management - AMN) is oral and consists of an interview in English on the information from the documents provided and a motivation letter. It will be conducted by video-conference call in front of the board (which is considered as the subject of the admission exam).
